Luca Aquino is one of the top trumpeters in Italy and indeed in whole Europe currently. This former student of Enrico Rava and Paolo Fresu has a unique trumpet sound which he has already once presented in Finland: he visited Tampere Jazz Happening in 2013 in French drummer Manu Katché’s line-up. This time Luca comes to Finland with his solo project “OverDOORS” which is more than just a tribute to his all time favourite rock group The Doors. The newly arranged, familiar classic tunes are played by Luca’s quartet including Dario Miranda in bass,
Antonio Jasevoli in guitar, and drummer Lele Tomasi – all top musicians in Italy. The mini tour in Finland reaches three cities in November:
