The 11th International Backlight Photo Festival
Backlight Photo Festival juhlii 30-vuotista taivaltaan syyskuussa 2017. Tampereella 11. kertaa järjestettävä kansainvälinen valokuvafestivaali esittää näyttelyissä 22 teossarjaa yhteensä 12 maasta. Suomalaisia valokuvataiteilijoita on valittujen joukossa seitsemän. Tapahtuman päänäyttämöllä Tampereen taidemuseossa 9.9. − 29.10.2017 on mukana myös italialaistaiteilija Stefano Gioglin teoksia.

The eleventh edition of the Triennial Backlight Photo Festival will open in Tampere where artists from all over the world will expose their works; all united and bounded over the theme of Independence, thus developing trough an intercultural dialogue the Backlight Photo festival that reaches with this edition its 30th anniversary.
By revealing the hidden and veiled, the lost as the forgotten, independence and dependencies, individual, collective and social freedom of the 21st century; all dotted and documented through the prints selected by an international jury among those proposed by over 400 artists wishing to participate. Italian photographer Stefano Giogli is among the 22 passionate and revealing artists that we can admire in Tampere at the Nykyaika Photographic Center from September 21st.
